Rescued Dog – Inspired by Grayce

Rescued Dog was inspired by the love for a special needs dog named Grayce and the firsthand knowledge of the financial needs that rescue groups face every day.

As a volunteer, founder and director of rescue groups for nearly two decades, the need for monetary support to help rescue groups and shelters is always at the forefront of rescue efforts. Looking into the eyes of a dog that has just been rescued is enough to melt your heart. They truly know they have been saved. Seeing the horrific situations these dogs come from, and rise above, is a constant reminder of the importance and need for rescue. There is nothing greater than knowing that you had a hand in ensuring that one more dog will not only live, but will also have a wonderful life. Unfortunately, the potential of a wonderful outcome for a dog with special needs is even less.

Why? Because dogs. Grayce reminded us every day. She was a gift that enriched our lives more than words could ever express. Before her arrival, she was literally thrown away by her first ‘owner.’ Dumped to fend for herself and emaciated by the time she was found wandering. She was deaf, diabetic, epileptic and visually impaired. Above all, she was beyond amazing. Her disabilities did not define her. In fact, she had no idea that she was challenged in any way. She thrived and rose above and encouraged us to do the same. Her love was endless. She was the inspiration behind Rescued Dog. Together, we can make a difference.  Every day with her was a blessing.

Please join our movement to promote the concept of rescue and help dogs in need. Adopt a rescued dog. Even better, adopt a special needs rescued dog. It will be the best decision you ever make. Then, light a candle in tribute, enjoy your favorite beverage in a Rescued Dog pint or sport a Rescued Dog decal, and we will donate 100% of all sale proceeds to the group you designate at checkout. Together we can change the future for dogs in need.
